Petronas Penapisan Terengganu Sdn. Bhd. has started lubricant analysis program with Metalux Molecular (S) Pte. Ltd. since December 2000. Our main concern at that time was to decide whether 10 units of our critical compressors required total overhaul or only minor inspection during May 2001 warranty shutdown. With a time constraint, we needed to decide based on lube oil analysis result. After contacting a few lube oil service provider, only Metalux (S) Pte. Ltd, could meet our dateline.
